Bartolome is a small island to the east of Santiago in the Galapagos. A climb of about 30 minutes to the top of the steps after a dry landing gives this view on a clear day. The beaches are accessible after a separate wet landing and the snorkelling is good around pinnacle rock (on right of picture). Visit on an island cruise or by all day trip from Santa Cruz. Offical tours with national park guide only.
